Adoption Process

How to bring one home

Thank you for your interest in our puppies! We do not want this to simply be a purchase! This should be an engaging process filled with excitement and learning. Welcome to the Good Day Family!

#1 – Submit an Application

If you are ready to adopt one of our Australian Labradoodle puppies, please submit an application on our Reserve A Puppy page

#2 – Put Down A Deposit

All puppies, regardless of gender, coat or color are $3000 USD. Our pups come with a two year health guarantee, spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations /de-worming and microchipped with a life time enrollment with AKC Reunite.

You will be asked to make a deposit in the amount of $500.00 USD when you submit your application (PayPal or Check), which will add your name to the waiting list for your preferred litter. This deposit will be deducted from the total price of your puppy. The remaining balance of $2,500 for the puppy is due at 6 weeks of age. We do not accept PayPal or credit cards for the balance due.

Two year health guarantee

Spayed/neutered

Vaccinated & de-wormed

Microchipped for life

#3 – Puppies Are Born!

As soon as the puppies are on the ground, we’ll send you a birth announcement e-mail. Every week thereafter, we’ll send updates on the pups’ development along with pictures.

Caveat: Mother Nature participates in every breeding. If an unexpected circumstance should occur (small litters, non-conception etc.), you can either ask for a refund of your deposit, or transfer it to the next available litter that you prefer.

You will also be given a link to our live streaming webcam so that you can watch the puppies as they grow and observe the love and care they are given daily. WARNING: Your work production will significantly decline as you will surely become a puppy webcam stalker!!

#4 – Choosing Your Puppy

At 7 weeks of age, we will assign the puppies to the members of our waitlist, based on your preferences and the results of the temperament testing. For instance, if you ask for a chocolate male in your application, we will look at the temperament results of all of the chocolate males and determine which pup is the best fit for your family’s lifestyle. It is more work on our end, but it has a huge positive impact and ensures a smooth transition into your family.

#5 – Coming Home!

At 8 weeks, the latest addition to your family will come home with you. Along with this bundle of love, you will receive his or her medical records & a blanket with the mother’s and litter mates’ scent. You will also be given a sample of the dog food that has been used, puppy training information, collar and leash.
