House Training A Labradoodle

When you wake up: Take your labradoodle puppy out. Don't wait until you shower or until coffee is made and for the first week or two, carry the labradoodle puppy rather than having him/her walk.  When they are very young they sometimes can’t hold it till they get outside! Use the same phrase, such as “Go Potty! or “Do Your Business!” every time.  Once your labradoodle puppy goes be very excited and praise abundantly.  You can even offer a treat as well.

Feed and water when you return.

About 5 minutes after the pup has finished eating or you see it sniff the floor, take pup out.

Put your labradoodle puppy in it's crate when you get ready for work; place safe chew and play toys in the crate for entertainment.

At approximately noon, offer your labradoodle puppy water and then take labradoodle puppy out to potty. Then return to crate.

If this is not possible leave water in the crate preferably fastened so they cannot tip it over.

As soon as you arrive from work., give water and take your labradoodle puppy out .

Feed and water.

Wait a few minutes and take pup out again.

Bedtime, give the labradoodle puppy a drink of water and take it out to potty.

Confine overnight.

If you are home during the day or on the weekends, and your labradoodle puppy has been out of its crate playing, you should offer a potty break about every 30 min. or anytime it wakes from a nap.
